To determine which social needs to address, we apply a disciplined process, studying local needs with the help of outside experts, and most importantly, in consultation with the communities themselves.
To be as effective as possible as quickly as possible, we do not attempt to develop new capabilities from the ground up within our own organization. Instead, we partner with non-governmental organizations that have proven track records.
For a program to be considered by Hunt Global Partnerships, it must be sustainable -- that is, able to run on its own long after the builders of the project or program have moved on to other activities.
Every program must be easily adapted to the particular needs and desires of each community.
It isn't enough just to understand how a program succeeds, we must understand why. For this reason, each program begins with a baseline study and then moves toward clear, measurable goals. In addition, our non-governmental partners operating the programs in the field must pass an annual quantitative performance review before their contracts are renewed.
Our vision is for Hunt Global Partnerships to be completely open to anyone wishing to duplicate or evaluate our success. We publish our plans, methods and results for the benefit of others contemplating similar work, and we welcome feedback from those who have discovered how to make corporate social responsibility programs more effective.
